WORKSHOPS FOR THE VOLUNTEER TEAM AND RETREATS
The working methodology for these workshops is to strengthen the interpersonal relationships of our work team, to listen to them in their concerns, difficulties, problems at the individual, interpersonal level and we train them in principles, values, relationship with God, and we provide them with tools that help them in the development of their volunteering.
The work we do is focused on Biblical principles, we believe in the individualization of each child that needs restoration, each one is different, with different needs, each one needs a restoration strategy designed for him.
Our methods have a long-term commitment with children and their families, we have the patience and perseverance to initiate changes in them, even if they take years to achieve it. We work exclusively in teams, never alone, this allows enrichment with different perspectives and new ideas, the protection that results from the support of others, the evaluation from several perspectives and the deepening of interpersonal relationships
TRAINING
Through agreements with entities such as SENA, mothers are trained head of household and population in conditions of vulnerability in manufacturing courses, training in personal finance and entrepreneurship training.
Result of the aforementioned we have a space for the training of 45 people in sewing and clothing.
ATENCIÓN A LA FAMILIA DE LOS NIÑOS Y LAS NIÑAS
Teniendo en cuenta que la familia es la base de la sociedad y que toda estrategia dirigida a la formación de personas activas dentro de una comunidad debe partir del fortalecimiento de la misma para garantizar los resultados, estamos desarrollando un programa de atención a la familias a través de Talleres de padres, orientación espiritual.
SCHOOL AND NUTRITIONAL REINFORCEMENT
The children belonging to our program have a school reinforcement plan guided by some of our volunteers from individual or collective tutorials and providing materials and school supplies; additional to it during this day we provide our children, snacks, lunch.
SOCIALIZATION IN “HOME HOLANDA”
In our headquarters called “HOME HOLANDA”, we serve the children we have invited, where they have spaces dedicated to: personal hygiene, formation in values, biblical principles, integration, companionship, team work, comprehensive education and school leveling.
FRIENDSHIP AND TRUST
The team in charge of this stage of the work visits the places of housing of the community that we are reaching in order to make an approach, know their problems and individual and family needs, make friends, break cultural and social barriers, gain confidence, evangelize them, giving them to know the love of Jesus for them and inviting the children first to our house where the process of restoration and transformation begins.
